Cardmaking Ideas - Using a Die in 3 different ways
Hi everyone I spent some time test driving a cutting die
It is one of the new products we are now selling in the shop.
Ultimate Crafts Cathedral Stained Glass Impression Die
This is a small sized die size (62 x 62mm - 2.4 x 2.4in)
This intricate die can be used in 3 ways, making it really versatile.
Cut Stencil & Emboss
I love the possibilities for different styles of projects
Keeping it elegant with crisp whites or creams
Playing with colours
Cutting it out in black card and popping some acetate behind.
Plus lots more...
Below are 3 Projects I made using the die, plus some of my own craft goodies.
This card I used mixed colours to stencil.
Coloured some sections with glitter pen.
Layered the inked window shape on top.
I matt & layered squares to add depth to the design.

Die cut the window shape to use as a stencil.
(You can also use the die itself to do this).
Using Distress Inks built up the background pattern & coloured the shapes.
Took 1 embossed and 2 of the Die cut shapes and layered them to add detail.
Finished with a gem & organza ribbon.
Darker tones on this card, help make the colours & detail stand out.
These are just a few ideas using the die
hope you enjoyed seeing them.
