A little play with a glitzy butterfly 'Home Decor' idea
Creating a Boxed art piece.
For this project I used the following Sweet Dixie products
(all available from the shop).
Lacy Butterfly die (SDD274)
Hearts and Flowers Edger (SDD388)
Floral Vintage Foil 4.5" x 6.5" paper pad (SDPP0027)
Plus:
White card, gold mirri, gems, pearls, glue & a 15cm x 15cm box frame.
I cut a plain piece of white card 15cm x 15cm.
Mounted the patterned paper cut to the length of the edger die shape.
Cut out the butterfly twice, backing one with white card.
Cut out the detailed edge in gold mirri twice, also backed on to white card.
Cut out the detailed edge in gold mirri twice, also backed on to white card.
Used the patterned paper to create corner accents.
Decorated with a mix of pearl and sparkly gems.
Finished with the white frame.
