Cardmaking Ideas - Everyday Floral
Hi everyone, hope you are staying warm and snug with a hot cuppa.
Today I made a couple of every day floral cards
Using Sweet Dixie products designed by Sue Dix.
We stock these cutting dies and more in the shop
I really enjoyed making the flowers and leaves, die cutting them using plain white card then colouring with a mix of distress and oxide inks. Shaped the petals and stamens then glued them together, adding a gem to the centre.
Leaves were inked and curled a little. I also used a Decorative background die, so versatile for many projects and can add some lovely interest.
On the pink card I also added some feathers cut from the dreamcatcher die, which worked really well as additional leaves.
Sweet Dixie Items used:
Pretty Petals (SDD130) die set.
Decorative Background (SDD217) die.
Dreamcatcher (SDD346) die set.
Plus ranger distress inks: mustard yellow, mowed lawn, chipped saphire and walnut stain
Along with festive berries(distress oxide).

Hope you enjoyed seeing some ideas of what can be made using the dies.

Have a lovely weekend
