Floral Heart Die - Three Ideas

Hi everyone,

Sharing the first new creative ideas post for 2020 from 'Heathers Inspiration'.

I wanted to show you some lovely cards made by me using the beautiful.
'Filigree Floral Heart' Cutting Die from Sweet Dixie
(Designed by Sue Dix).

*Available in the online shop*
This die is great for so many occasions
Valentines, Weddings, Anniversaries and so on.
A really simple matt and layer card using patterned and plain papers for contrast.
I added a twine bow, molded embellishments and gems.
Something a little more fancy, the pink background was made by inking over one of the die cuts to create a random pattern. I used festive berries distress oxide ink. Then two hearts placed onto the central white card, with the silver one folded to add dimension. Lace, tiny gems and molded embellishments added to complete.
The heart cut out of white card, mounted onto silver and using the relief cut of a patterned paper to place it into. Little pearls arranged and an organza bow to finish.

This is the die, it has such a pretty and intricate design.
You can find it in store by clicking below.

I also used patterned papers from the 'Provence Love Paper Pad' from Sweet Dixie

Hope you enjoyed seeing them, more ideas coming soon to the blog.

Hugs
Heather
