An Easel Card - Created Using A Mandala Style Cutting Die.

Pretty Patterns & Subtle Tones For This Card Idea...
Hi everyone I created this card using a 'Sweet Dixie' die set.
It is called 'Mandala Style Circle Set' & designed by Sue Dix.

Below a little insight into how I made the card.
******
Using the fluted circular die cut out three circles of card.
(folded one of the plain circles in half).
Using both dies together cut out one patterned mandala circle.
I then blended two inks tattered rose distress oxide and stormy sky distress ink.
Covering the plain card both sides for even coverage and the patterned on one side.
Glued the patterned circle to one of the plain ones.
Then attached the folded circle to the back of this, only gluing half on.
Glued only a small edge and attached as shown below, to allow the easel movement required.
Flowers and leaves added as a stopper and for decoration, along with a hand tied bow and pearly gems to complete the subtle theme of this make.
This die design is available in the shop along with many others to choose from.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the idea and look out for more on the blog soon.
Sending hugs to everyone - Heather
