Another Chatty Post

A Lovely Walk At Pitsford Reservoir.

Hi everyone, Rob and I went for a lovely relaxed walk around Pitsford Reservoir on Sunday. It was the first time we have been there in ages. There were lots of pretty wildflowers, grasses, trees, butterflies and insects to enjoy. You could hear the crickets in the long grasses such a buzz of noise and activity. The water was full of wildfowl swans, geese & ducks along with lots of boats out sailing, there were fishermen out too.  I only had my phone, so took a couple of snaps on that.
We walked 7.8 miles which was a mix of a sign posted walk through shady wooded areas, then walking around a big chunk of the reservoir. Pit stops were much appreciated, sandwiches eaten and also a cooling lemonade ice lolly enjoyed from the ice-cream van too. Getting out refreshed the soul for the week ahead, which was very needed. Hope you have all had a little time to do something you enjoy. Have a lovely week and look out for more blog posts later this week.
