A Reverse Gatefold Card Idea For Christmas
Hi everyone...With a little over two weeks until Christmas I wanted to bring this idea to the blog & hope it gives a few thoughts for last minute cardmaking, if you like me are still seasonal crafting.
You may have these cutting dies or similar already, we also stock a lovely mix in the shop if you fancy a browse to see just what is available.
It is a reverse gatefold card with a simple yet eye catching layout. Mixing die cut shapes in white card combined with panels of gold mirri card with the bonus of fairly minimal crafting time required.
I used some white adorable scorable card to make the reverse gatefold card base, scoring & folding.
Some gold offcuts of mirri card came in very handy for panels & then I die cut the shapes required. All glued on & finished with a bow and a few gems.
The cutting dies I used for this project were mostly 'Sweet Dixie' designs as listed.
Festive plaque - SDD229
Snowflake Frame - SDD546
(using the small snowflakes from this set)
Large Snowflake - SDD326
(Credit to Sue Dix who designed them).
I did also use a plain rectangle die from my craft stash, along with glue, gems & a gold bow.
Shown below the pieces as reference.
Hope you liked it, coming to the blog next is ?
Well that would be telling lol
Please pop back at the weekend to see.
Hugs Heather xxx
