How do you use your stamps?

Hi everyone if you already enjoy stamping or are thinking of trying it as a new hobby you can create lots of different styles of project. So I thought it would be nice to show you some items I made this week to inspire you.

I used stamps on hearty soft air drying clay to make some ornate embellishments for cards & a mixed media piece. This was done by debossing with the stamps into rolled clay & then inking to add colour once dry.

Armed with a rolling pin, pastry cutters, hearty soft air dry clay & of course some stamps.
I rolled out the clay & cut out circles in a mix of sizes.
Pressed the stamp/s down into the clay & used the rolling pin gently rolling over the top.
Carefully pulled the stamp/s off which left a debossed effect.
These were then left to dry for a day prior to decorating.
Credit to Sweet Dixie & the designer Sue Dix whose
For this ornate card I layered cream card on white & then patterned paper. Die cut a square gold frame & used one of the debossed circles as the decorative topper. This was coloured with a mix of red & pink distress oxides which I blended on, finished with gold gilding wax & a pretty bow.

This mini card was decorated with the debossed butterfly, inked & gilded. A stippled effect with some dot work on the card & some pretty embellishments added to complete.

A 6" x 4" mixed media piece, Using an upcycled frame, pretty patterned paper.
One of the Circular Decorations, made using the Floral Posy from the stamp set & a little offcut of wool to tie two hearts together for further decoration.
