Creating with a Moon Dreamcatcher Die from Sweet Dixie
Hi everyone here is our latest idea to inspire you. This was a joy to make even with feathers floating around the room as I opened the bag a little too quickly! A wall hanging created using a beautiful new die set from Sweet Dixie, which is available in the shop.
I cut out the the moon dreamcatcher & word art in plain white card. Inked using a mix of cream, blue & brown inks quite subtly with light blending. Added silver detail with gilding wax & some pearl drops & green gems. Carefully glued a mix of feathers to complete. Attached behind & facing forwards. Mounted this onto two layers of card. Rustic twine looped to the back for hanging & card placed behind this on the back to complete. Making the hanging more rigid. I was so pleased how this turned out & hope to make another one in a different colourway over the coming weeks to showcase different styles for you to see.
