When Snowflakes Stick Together They can make a Snowman

I had a little play this week with a beautiful new Sweet Dixie die 'Filigree Snowman' SDD601 designed by Sue Dix. It has the prettiest detail with snowflakes, stars & holly leaves in the pattern of the die.

Great for a mix of Christmas makes including the one shown below.

We are really proud to stock this brand. Great quality, affordable & designed in the UK.

How was it made ?

Die cut the filigree snowman and his arm x two. Draw around the snowman shape onto card & cut out. This creates a solid backing for him when the layers are glued together. Colour some areas in pencil then add glitter glue by painting it on. Create a simple background sized 8" x 8" digitally then print. The completed snowman stuck on with foam pads, add a few gems, dot some star dust stickles on the tree & add mini snowballs. Place in a recycled frame & all done.

If you can use the backing paper for your own crafting please feel free to download the image & print out at home, then just add other elements to make your project.

The new dies from Sweet Dixie including the Filigree Snowman are available in our online craft shop. The link below will take you there.

Happy Crafting everyone
